SOCS Training sessions are conducted online using Microsoft Teams.
During the Teams meeting, the trainer may use live transcription to capture everything being said.
The purposes of this are to:
- provide training that is consistent to all our customers
- ensure that all customers receive quality training with accurate information given and follow-up training/support
- identify any areas where the training provided does not reach agreed standards <this may need omitting unless we have some>
- take steps to eradicate errors and improve the training given.
Customers booking training will be advised of this at the time of booking and it is their responsibility to inform other attendees that they invite when sharing the link to the training session. At the start of an online training session, when all attendees have joined, the SOCS trainer will say:
"Before I continue I must advise you that what is said in this training session may be transcribed for quality and training purposes"
The transcription is captured in real time and includes each speaker's name and time stamp. An attendee can choose to hide their identity:
Hide your identity in meeting captions and transcripts in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Support
Edited sections of the transcript may be used in communications with the attendees following the training but no personal data will be included.
